Bible Prophecy Commentary – Deception:
Deception in the days leading up to Christ’s return will be filled with deceit, false Christs, and false teachers of all kinds. In fact, Jesus emphasizes it these three times in Matt 24:5, 11, 24. We see much deception in our world today – from nations, officials, world leaders and religious leaders. For the Pope to declare:
“The Big Bang, which today we hold to be the origin of the world, does not contradict the intervention of the divine creator but, rather, requires it. Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation, because evolution requires the creation of beings that evolve.”

… is rather startling and requires that we scrutinize and consider it carefully. Why is he saying this and for what purpose is it meant? Doesn’t the Big Bang theory represent a secular-only view as a one time event that manifested itself in a huge tremendous explosion of matter and light billions of years ago? Where’s God in this? Science has termed it a “Big Bang” event absent of anything stating that God was involved. It’s a secular story of natural processes and quite hypothetical in nature.
Evolution is based on speculation without adequate evidence. In fact, Sir Arthur Keith, an anthropologist and evolutionist, states the evolution doctrine as:
“Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable.”

Creationists do not condone evolution or at least should not. Evolution’s foundation is science and this science has twisted the truth of creation into the lie of evolution. Do we not see that science in its true form was created by God? Have we drifted so far from our Creator that we cannot see what is in plain sight? How can one consider after examining the human eye, for example, even conclude that it was formed into its current state over many millions of years by an act of some sort of random molecular composition?
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” -Rom 1:20-21 (KJV)
Seek the God of the Bible and His Son Jesus Christ for in Him is found absolute truth and everlasting life. Give Him the glory!
