Bible Prophecy Commentary – Spiritual Forces in Wicked Places:

It was all over the mainstream and Internet news sources as the talking heads waited in anticipation for the Grand Jury decision to be released last evening. It was like a feeding frenzy of ripe riot-inciting racial news. Folks, clearly, the love of many is waxing cold. How terrible it is that this nation as great as it became, as Godly as it once was has stooped to the depths of this kind of action and reaction. Hate and lawlessness are filling our streets for blown-out-of-proportion reasons. It’s like the radicals, and other hatemongers in this nation wait for something to activate their violence engines. It’s like terror and wickedness are now ever looming over us and ready to pounce at a moment’s notice. Unfortunately, President Barak Obama hit the nail on the head by saying previously this nation is no longer just a Christian nation. And I agree we are not.

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” -Matt 24:12 (NKJV)

Bible prophecy has been written about these days and yes, days gone by – Matt 24:12. But now, IMO, it’s worsening, getting more serious since news reporting has become so widespread and immediate with social media like a huge TV in the sky with imminent reporting and commenting. Biased and non-biased commentaries spark public interest and ignite some into a violent-fests destroying whatever they can with no regard for the laws or peoples possessions. This is flat-out wickedness and it is being orchestrated by the enemy of our souls – Satan and his henchmen. Make no mistake about this – behind the veil of our visible lives wages tremendous evil and battles for our souls.

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” -2 Thess 2:7 (NKJV)

PERILOUS TIMES IN THE LAST DAYS!

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. -2 Tim 3:1-5 (KJV)

Are You Kidding Me? Abominable, Deceptive and Blasphemous

“Muslims Chant to Remove Jesus at Washington’s National Cathedral”, Israel Today – 11/20/2014

Bible Prophecy Commentary – Abominable:

“A congregation of hundreds were lead by an Imam in declaring that “god has no son, that Jesus Christ cannot be his son, and that there is no god like Allah.”” (re: linked article above)

Can you believe this is being said in a ‘Christian’ church here in America? A nation founded on the values and principles of Almighty God – the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And we are allowing this in one of our [previously] great icons of our Christian roots and faith in America? Are you kidding me? We are starting to slowly and subtly embrace Islam. And as far as the interfaith dialog and tolerance – hogwash! We have profaned and trampled the only One of God – Jesus Christ – under our feet. God Almighty help this nation!

In light of this can anyone deny the mess America is in? We have opened wide our gates and doors and evil has waltzed right in unbeknownst to many. From ‘secure hands-tied’ wide-open borders for and to everyone, to scandals of every size and shape in and out of government, this land is spinning out of moral control and into spiritual turmoil. We now have people just waiting to riot … again. We have people killing people senselessly, beheadings, ax killers, radical Jihadists infiltrating and infecting our land, domestic violence rising, confusion and chaos in the halls of our national leaders.  We are speeding down a slippery slope of moral decline so great that it is ripping the Christian heart out of this once great nation that was once under God. Folks, there are dreadful, terrible and powerful spiritual forces behind these things. God have mercy on this nation!

“Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” -Heb 10:29 (KJV)

WATCH OUT FOR DECEPTION !!

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many …And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many … For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”  -Matt 24:4,5,11, 24 (KJV)

How Well Do You Know God?

“You are My witnesses,” says the Lord,” And My servant whom I have chosen. That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.” -Isa 43:10 (NKJV)

The God of my life, the God of this blog, the God of all Creation is the God of the Bible – of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I am not talking about any false gods, i.e. Allah, worshiped by many and also claimed by many to refer to Almighty God. No this is not the case! You see, I am talking about the one and only true God, the God defined in the Bible and alone is the one that everyone will bow their knee to when they see Him – Phil 2:10. This I want to clarify and make absolutely clear since there are many today that assert that Almighty God has become universal and a common name for many gods. This is not the case as salvation is found in no other name – Acts 4:12.

Our fast-paced culture today is filled with high tech gadgets that help us communicate better and make our lives easier. Or so we think. We use our cell phones to communicate with others, we text and email with passion and fervor, but is all this really that good? Or are we learning less and less about one another? Avoiding personal interaction for the nuances and convenience of high-tech living? How many of us stop and smell the flowers these days? How many take time to just listen to the wind flowing through the trees on a warm summers day? Probably not many. Instead we are constantly in motion from work to home, eating, shopping, sports, TV, exhaustion and finally sleep and the cycle just keeps repeating. With our lives in a continuous spin and our personal touch relegated to electronic bits and bytes, do we take a time out from the flurry of everyday life to talk to our Creator God? If not, why not?

How well do you know God right now today? Or more appropriate, how well do you want to know God? Do you spend any time alone, you know, just you and Him? Do you have a ‘prayer closet’ (Matt 6:6) where you go to speak and seek His face? Or do you just say a few words in your car (with your radio on, half listening to the music or news) on your way to work or at lunch while munching down a burger? My friends, we should desire with utmost urgency to know who the God of the Bible is, His character, His ways, His love and mercy, His position in our lives. Where does He fit in and if so, where? We must spend time with Him every day, alone with no distractions, silently just speaking to Him from our heart. Worshiping Him, praising Him, loving Him. Also telling Him our needs, desires and wants. Share with Him like you would with a close personal friend. He wants you to. BTW, do you know the Lord’s prayer? Where it is in the Bible, and what does it mean personally to you? This was the only prayer that Jesus taught to His disciples and should be an example for and to us. A pattern of prayer encompassing: worship, praise, supplication, forgiveness, direction, leading and protection.

The Lord’s Prayer

“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen” -Matt 6:9-13 (NKJV)

Knowing one another requires personal communication with them – one-on-one and face-to-face. We know our parents because we have spent much time with them growing up. All the more, to know God requires that we spend quality time with Him, learning about Him through reading the Bible … daily. Start simple – from say, one verse to multiple chapters but grow in this daily! If you claim to be a Christian and do not read His word then you will not know Him completely. We have many Christian Bibles and resources here in the Western world and therefore we have no excuses not to have access to His word. Folks, we need to know God now more than ever. The time of His coming is growing close and as such we must endeavor to seek Him with fervent prayer, thanksgiving and supplication – Phil 4:6. I urge you today to get to know God Almighty more intimately, more intensely, more sincerely. Pour out your hearts to Him, He will hear you for He desires your fellowship more than you could ever know. Amen.

Coram Deo
