“And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:” -Isa 5:5 (KJV)
Bible Prophecy Commentary – America’s Defilement:
As we know by reading and studying the Bible that when a nation turns its back on God Almighty, that nation suffers. i.e ancient Israel, Nineveh, Babylon, etc … and now America. Yes, America has turned its back on God, Jesus Christ and refuses to hear His Holy Spirit. Why? Greed, lust, pride, idolatry … and SIN!
Consider two of Israel’s past kings: King Hezekiah of ancient Judah who feared God and turned the Israelites back from their idolatry to serve the living God (2 Kings 18). Then examine his son Manasseh, an evil and wicked king, who scorned God and worshiped Satanic gods of evil and wickedness which aroused God’s anger against them (2 Kings 21). Which one of these scenarios is like America today?
We have stiff-armed God and poked Him right in the eye with our fornication with other gods and with idolatry. Our nation is being ripped apart by sin and that sin separates us from Him. In fact, you never hear of sin anymore – hardly will you walk into a Christian church these days and feel the conviction of your sin through the preaching and teaching. Yes, even our Christian churches don’t know God. They don’t revere Him, fear Him or worship Him. He has become a relic in our thinking and outdated in our lives. This is profoundly pathetic; we have become friends with the world and enemies of the Lord and therefore evil – James 4:4; Mal 3:18.
What’s our plight? Read in the articles above what we have done in our societies – public schools, movies, sex and violence fill our intake of TV food. And our family’s have become disjointed and dysfunctional. We have told God to get lost; we seldom read our Bibles, pray, seek His face, fall down to our knees in Godly sorrow for our sin. And I believe God is/has abandoned our nation (Rom 1) and we are now under His hand of judgment and unless we turn around and steer our nation back on course with Him, we will perish in our unrepentant sin. 2 Chron 7; Jer 18
Calamities will increase just read Isa 2; 24, Nahum 1; Hos 4; Amos 3; Eze 8 then Hos 4:17 and Matt 15:14. Even now the weather is going extreme and the earth is shaking more and more by the day – sinkholes, earthquakes, volcanic activity. Read Isaiah 24:1-12, and observe how the land suffers when God’s judgments arrive.
The Lord is coming again; the events are prophesied and yes it is gloom and doom for there has to be consequences for our sin. God is not an indulgent heavenly grandfather that just approves and condones everything we do. He is love and that love also means justice. Repent everyone as the time of His second coming draws ever nearer.
Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
CALAMITIES WILL INCREASE!
“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. ” -Matt 24:7 (KJV)
“And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” -Luke 21:11 (KJV)
