We cannot deny the fast pace at which technology is increasing across the globe. Especially in war-fighting tools to destroy and kill without, in most cases, firing a shot. One cannot refute the ability of computer malware (spyware and the like) to destroy electronic records and maim us in the pocketbook. These things are becoming so common that people in many cases don’t give it much thought.
However, the truth of it’s destructive capability is incredible. Taking down airline flights, etc, banks, economic institutions, electrical grids is certainly seen today across many nations. And since America relies so heavily on electronics, we would be absolutely devastated if an electrical grid were hit with malware. Then it’s lights out folks and then the trouble really begins. Remember, no shots fired only the bits and bytes of computer technology altered to destroy.
Take for example the social media scene. For the most part it’s sucking the social life out of children and replacing them as smart phone and video game screen junkies addicted to their electronic devices.
Pay attention to what is happening in the world in the realm of technology and the speed at which it is advancing. Consider from these advances what role AI will play in the future especially as the one world currency, religion and government starts to take shape.
