Last Days Deception is Here and Growing by the Day

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, 2- through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared,” -1 Tim 4:1-2 (ESV)

There is a highly toxic and extremely dangerous trend advancing against mankind at an alarming rate. This trend is spiritually destructive and leaves no gender, no creed, or church affiliation untouched. It is the trend and destructive force of deception which takes on traits in the form of lies, untruths, twisted or malign truths and widespread chaos and confusion. We see this is the halls of our nation’s leaders and other nations as well but it’s most profound here in America and in the church. It’s disheartening and disturbing at the same time. 

This spirit of deception has infiltrated and is manifesting itself in the Christian church and in Christian circles right now. It’s ugly and ungodly. Many have fallen for the twisted lies of false prophets and shepherds masquerading as pastors of megachurches across our nation. They preach the doctrines such as that of prosperity, the Word of Faith and many more.  In addition, many claim that Israel has been replaced by the Church (Replacement Theology) and also that the Old Testament (39 books) is irrelevant and inapplicable to God’s truth and it’s to be “unhitched” from a Christian’s faith. Ref: Andy Stanley’s recent book titled “Irresistible” (ca 2018). And there are more examples like this in other books by high profile Christian authors.

Jesus said when asked by His disciples in Matt 24 what would mark the signs of the end of the age. He spoke many things in Matt 24, but highlighted, underlined and marked with certainty in four verses, that false prophets and men would deceive many. Friends, it’s time to listen strongly to Jesus’ words for when He speaks of things multiple times (i.e. Verily, verily) they are extremely important. We are seeing a tremendous blindness coming upon mankind and especially in America – society, government, home, church and in people’s lives. Just look at what’s happening around you….

The Arch Deceiver – Satan himself – with his hoards of demons are bending the truth to make it palatable, easy to hear, soft and cuddly, and easy to swallow. And this deception is wielded by big name pastors and evangelists. Hence the teaching found in I dare say, in 98% of America’s churches. Yes, this is true. When was the last time you heard from the pulpit the real truth of the Gospel found in the teaching in both the OT and NT, the conviction of sin, Godly sorrow, heaven, hell and the most important – repentance?

“in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” -2 Cor 4:4 (NASB)

Those who have tossed out prophecy and the teachings of the OT have been officially blinded by Satan and they are following his lies. The Pied Piper of evil, wickedness and untruths is leading many onto the wide and easy road that according to Scripture will result  in their destruction (Matt 7:13-14).

Those who have denied the truth of the Bible – the words of the entire Bible – have despised God’s word and the reason Christ came to this earth. Have you not read in Scripture – Mark 7:9, 13a, that those that teach the traditions of men nullify the Word of God and will incur His wrath -Amos 2:4. Those that reject God’s word in its entirety reject God and His Son – Jesus the Christ. They don’t want to hear the sound doctrine of the full council of the Lord (Acts 20:27) and many a pastor and priest teach these things and because people refuse to read their Bibles, they fall for anything and are deceived. 

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; ⁴ And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” -2 Tim 4:2-5 (KJV)

Spiritual discernment in the church has become extinct in American Christianity.

Satan is working diligently in the minds of men to dissuade them from the truth and believing the lies of false prophets and men/women leading others astray. You see the Devil has had thousands of years to perfect his trade of deception – he deceived Eve – and he’s deceiving many today. And the church is falling for his teaching in the form of doctrines of demons. That is, God is done with Israel – the church has replaced them, God is universal and will allow all into His Kingdom (no entrance requirements), God is inherently good and will punish no one, God has a purgatory where you can work off your sin and finally make it into heaven, priests can absolve you of your sin, there is no hell, there is no heaven, and on and on they go. Evil, wicked, lies conquering many and steering them into an eternal separation from God – in the fire and torments of hell!

Friends, beloved it’s time to cast off your unbelief and start to follow God’s truths found only in Holy Writ. It’s time to rip the poisonous blinders off your eyes and start reading the word of God for yourself. It’s time to pray and seek God’s face and ask that His Holy Spirit bring the life of all Scripture into your heart, mind and soul (2 Tim 3:16).

Examine the Scripture below and notice it says “All” Scripture. All means All – all 66 books of the canonized word of God. ….

 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17- that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” -2 Tim 3:16-17 (ESV)

Before the Lord returns He said through the Apostle Paul that many would fall away from the faith – 2 Th 2:3. This is happening now and many, many in the church, and those who claim to be Christians are falling away from the faith through their rejection of the whole word of God and most don’t even know it. 

Today seek the living word of God in all its fullness and truth – John 6:63. Do not fall for the whims of men, the false teachings of church leaders who for their own gain take no thought of the souls that at one time were entrusted to them. 

IMO, the White Horse of Rev 6 – the very first Seal on the Scroll has been broken and the Rider released to win overcome many with no arrows but with bending the bow of their tongues to destroy and take captive many with little effort.
