Bible Prophecy Commentary: Middle East to Be Set on Fire?
The US acted as the police force in the Middle East – kept Russia and Iran and Turkey somewhat at bay. Now what? In a few months we’ll be outta there. So what will fill the gap? What may this portend for Israel, Syria, Iran, Afghan, Damascus, and the prophecies concerning these nations and land?
Two prophecies are starring us in the face – Isa 17 and Eze 38, 39. Damascus being turned into a heap of rubble and the Gog/Magog invasion against the land of Israel. With the US gone, the three major players are free to do as they please as the US withdraws into a shell, if you will. Not saying this is wrong since our soldiers and airman will be reunited with their families but saying that since the US acted as a holding force against any of these nations acting with evil intent – and now this is gone.

We just don’t know what may happen, this is just speculation right now. But knowing by the signs we are in the last days before Christ withdraws His Bride and the Tribulation begins, this event could be hugely significant. Keep watch, read your Bible and pray. Seek the Lord daily. Confess your sins and repent for without repentance you will not enter into His rest – Luke 13:1-8.
