Bible Prophecy Commentary: So How Bad Could it Get?
Very bad! According to Bible Prophecy as the Day of the Lord approaches, perilous times will come, deception will increase, false Christs will increase, wicked signs and wonders will get worse and deceive many, the love of many will grow frigidly cold, persecution will rise, and the perils and woes of nature (weather) will become unbelievable and unexplainable. I am not making this up for Scripture lists all these and more that will come to this sin-ridden planet.
Yes, I know, I write a lot about this but I can’t help it as these are the signs before the Lord returns and we MUST be paying attention or risk perishing. We must seek His face and find out what we must do and who we must tell. We must strive to stay on the narrow road despite what’s happening around us. We must stay the course and rely on Jesus in faith, hope and trust.
Concerning how bad will it get? Terribly bad and worse than that. Remember Moses and the reluctance of Pharaoh to let the Hebrews go. Remember the ten plagues. Worse than that! Today we see absolutely devastating calamities in nature rising at an unbelievable rate. These are signs, signs to return to the Lord. Read Amos and Nahum and glean some of what happened to them when they continued to refuse the Lord’s calling. Read Proverbs 1 and see what happens to those that continue to reject His calling, His wisdom.
America is aflame in sin with little to no repentance. Lots of “religious” people attend churches every Sunday but few actually know the Lord. The Lord is, IMO, sending these signs in nature to help us to wake up for it will get worse if we don’t. The Bible so states. The rest of the world is in the same boat – sinful with little Godly sorrow and repentance. It’s time folks, that we take serious note of what’s occurring in nature – God’s nature – and the messages He is sending us.
Are you paying attention? Amen!
