Bible Prophecy Commentary: Woes in Nature Continue
Folks please pay attention to what is happening in nature all over the world and also in the heavens – (huge fireball plunges towards Russia – here). The Lord said in His word that in the last days before He returned there would be:
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. ” -Luke 21:25-26 (KJV)
Yes, I write about this quite a bit. IMHO and based on years of prophetic studies through God’s word – this is one of the ways He warns people to stop sinning, repent and get right with Him and … accept His Son as Lord and Savior. Is this occurring today – YES!!! i.e. Noah and the flood. For approx 120 years Noah preached righteousness (2 Pet 2:5) on the earth and nobody, I repeat nobody listened to him. Result – they were destroyed. Only Noah and his family survived – 8 people from millions. What is the Christian church missing today? Preaching the sometimes offensive truth!!!
Mankind has rejected God and Jesus in favor of idols, wealth, self-righteousness and the desires of the flesh. We are being warned that the time is short and we had better clean up our act with God because one of these days all hell is going to break loose on the earth and the “fake” Christians that aren’t raptured will have a difficult time being left behind. Think I’m making this up? Who prays these days and seeks after the Lord like one seeking gold? Who goes to church to meet with God and worship Him even if the message is offensive? (Provided the cowards in the pulpit man-up and teach the full council of God).
Friends, God is telling us something through nature. This is how He communicates. He’s not going to appear on the TV news and tell people to get right with Him. He doesn’t work that way. Read your Bible. Look how He talked to Moses – through a burning bush that didn’t burn. How did He warn Pharaoh to let the Hebrews go? Ten nasty plagues!
Beloved – now is the time to get right with the Living Creator God (2 Cor 6:2). We are not promised tomorrow, not even the next minute. Take the time while or after you read this to follow the instructions of Rom 10:9-10 and sincerely mean it.
