Bible Prophecy Commentary: Iran vs Israel – :

Some Bible Prophecy teachers claim that there will be a Psa 83 war, some that Isa 17 (Damascus destroyed) is next, others say that we are on the verge of the Gog/Magog war described in Eze 38/39. Still others say that we are almost to Zech 12 prophesy on Israel. All these are well and good and may be spot on but I rarely hear anyone talking about the first six Seals of Rev 6.

And what about these Seals?

I used to believe and I know many believe this falls into the realm of the Tribulation but does it? After much study I have concluded that we could very well be living in the opening of the First Seal (White Horse Rider) which brings much deception, and lies. Some say this rider is the Antichrist. I disagree since this is a spirit and not a person as the other riders portray. However, it could be the spirit of the antichrist that deceives, confuses, lies and cheats which in turn paves the way for the real Antichrist. Remember, it says that he receives a crown but never seems to fight (and has no arrows for his bow). This is a perfect picture of what could be happening right now across the world and especially here in America.

I also believe we are in the beginning part of the Second Seal (Red Horse Rider) which brings a process whereby men kill men and he brings a Great Sword or war. And since this could mean a Great War, it follows that the Third Seal (Black Horse) – brings much scarcity of resources and then the Fourth Seal (Pale Horse) which brings much death could be very close and happen almost simultaneously. I am not totally dogmatic on this since there is a lot going on and there a few road markers placed firmly where the prophecy is established and being fulfilled quite yet.

Then there is the Fifth and the “critical” Sixth Seal of which I believe firmly is the announcement of the Tribulation period. Please read about these Seals in Rev 6. The Sixth Seal proclaims the Wrath of God has come.

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13- And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14- And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15- And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16- And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17- For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” -Rev 6:12-17 (KJV)

This is the start of the Lord’s wrath and it will not be pretty. The Seventh Seal actually ushers in the prelude to the start of the wrath of God. Please read and know about these things.

Please when you hear other prophecy teachers tell you about their interpretation, don’t swallow it as absolute truth. Get in God’s word and pray for understanding for yourself. Be a Berean (Acts 17:11).

There is nowhere in scripture that says that the Seals opened by the Lamb begins the Tribulation. But it does begin a period of time parallel with what Jesus describes in Matt 24. Take a look and observe the similarities.

Bottom line: Read, study, pray and get close to God. Pray for wisdom, understanding and knowledge in His word. If you pray and sincerely make the effort to read and understand He will bring it to you. But you have to start.  Get ready folks, things may be closer to Bible Prophecy fulfillment than anyone wants to think. Stuff is happening and happening fast. The Mideast is a tinderbox and about ready to explode. If Iran and Israel go at it fiercely, then you can bet Russia will get in it and then all hell could break loose.
