Bible Prophecy Commentary: The Earth is Mourning –
You can’t deny that the earth seems like it’s falling apart, breaking at the seems and under tremendous stress especially when you look at what’s happening in nature. But why is this happening? Friends, God’s word is plain – the earth mourns for all the sin and wickedness and evil that goes on daily. People aren’t interested in amending their ways (repentance) or confessing their sin to God. They aren’t concerned but for only themselves. Read Jer 12:4 (below) and understand that God’s word is truth and it’s for today.
“How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.” -Jer 12:4 (KJV)
I know that there are scores of skeptics out there that would deny my claims that all this is caused by unconfessed and unrepentant men not willing to repent and turn to Almighty God. So be it! Each can believe what they want but one of these days due to the judgments readying to fall on this planet men will know the truth. However, because they have hardened their hearts for so long against the Lord, will they be able to repent? Seek the Lord folks and read His word. Study to know and understand Him for He only is God and He only is Lord.
“By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. 3- Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.” -Hos 4:2-3 (KJV)
