Bible Prophecy Commentary: There Will Be War –

Although not getting a lot of hot-off-the-press news reporting this could be a significant move on Russia’s part. And IMO, it’s getting serious now as events push the world closer to war. The NKorean issue may be the stepping stone to something much larger.

It is this author’s viewpoint based on the study of Bible Prophecy that the next prophetic event we will see is war. Perhaps a global war; perhaps regional wars with the end result of some type of global calamitous war. World tensions are very high all over and it won’t take much to ignite a global conflict drawing in many nations. War drums are sounding and seemingly getting louder and stronger. If you haven’t noticed, please get in the know now.

Here’s my take on how this all may play out in the near future… (based on how things are changing so rapidly now, this view may change. One can’t be totally dogmatic on all things prophetic with the world in such a prophetic flux as it is today.)

The “Great Sword”

The Great Sword that the Red Horse Rider wields could very well mean a Great War that will cause the 4 kingdoms to emerge as prophesied in Dan 7. I believe that Russia will align itself with NKorea and take on the US if it comes against the rogue regime. This could spell a war of huge proportions.

Global war has to occur; even now it seems that the nations are being “stirred” into a feeding frenzy on one another. As we see in Bible Prophecy, four end time kingdoms will emerge after the four winds of heaven have stirred up the great sea – the nations that exist now – Dan 7:1. The four nations that are born out of this calamity will be the final end time kingdoms. Please pay attention to these things and I encourage you to read and study your Bible.

The Four Beasts That Emerge (The US Fate…?)

It is my opinion that Russia will emerge as the “bear” that will devour much flesh. Perhaps China (and four other Asian nations) as the “leopard” and the Antichrist kingdom (a rebuilt, reconstituted EU) as the nondescript terrible beast. That leaves the “lion” Who is this?

I surmise this is what’s left of a once powerful USA. The once strong and powerful roar of the king of the beasts is silenced [somehow] to only a man’s voice and capability, not a war-capable nation. The beast-nature of America in the past will have been stripped of it’s communication, transportation and all aspects of its ability to wage war or fight in a war. It’s war machine will be cut off (reduced, diminished, terminated) as the wings were in the vision of this beast. The once powerful and roaring lion will be only able to voice opposition as a mere man – Eze 38. The lion, contrary to popular eschatology is not a rebuilt Babylon for Babylon will never be inhabited again – Isa 13:20; Jer 50:39-40. However, one could infer that America has become Babylon and will suffer greatly as time progresses. It’s gross, immoral and unrepentant sin is I am sure, a terrible stench rising up to Almighty God. He will not tolerate this for long.

Time will tell how prophecy will be fulfilled but one thing is for sure and that is we are close to something, perhaps very big. There’s a ton load of people, including Christians, that have their heads buried firmly in the sand and could care less about all the events happening on the world stage. This is sad because they will be caught unaware and unprepared. 

So what do you believe? Have you read the Bible? Do you know what the signs of His return are? Are you prepared in your heart, mind and soul to stand before the Lord God Almighty? If not … why not? Jesus’ arm is still outstretched to those that seek Him with a contrite heart in humility with sincerity. How about you?
