BP Commentary: War/s Are Coming – Get Ready! –
Lots of talk about wars these days. Why? Because they are here and coming in mass.
If you think that this world, including America, will be exempt from very near global war/s, you are living in a fantasy world. War/s are coming and they won’t be nice or pretty nor will America escape the carnage. Why…How? America has prevailed in other World Wars because we knew the Lord and obeyed His voice. Today, not so. Americans don’t know the Lord nor do the Christian churches teach about Him anymore. They preach a social, convenient and pleasing Gospel far from the truths that our Lord would have us teach.
Wars are coming. Bad ones; severe ones; terrible ones. Many people will die and this is a fact. I won’t hide the truth of Scripture from anyone for the sake of being politically correct. You had better be ready – dressed in readiness with your lamps lit – Luke 12:35. How … why? The Bible prophesies it for the days before the Lord returns. Are we in those days now? This author and many other Bible scholars think yes, we are in the days before our Lord returns.
So what do we do?
Pray, fast (if you can), seek the Lord’s face, repent and tell others the Good News of Christ’s free gift of forgiveness of sins and salvation.
Are we to be scared or fearful? Not if you know the Lord. We must trust, hope and have faith in Him and not in this world.
Seek the Lord while He may be found. This means do this ASAP. What door will you enter when eternity comes calling your name? Heaven with Almighty God or the depth, pits and chambers of Hades, Sheol or in English – Hell?
