Bible Prophecy Commentary: Hate and Violence on the Rise –

What is going on in America and the rest of the world?

Evil is on the rise in the hearts of men. Wickedness and love waxing cold is taking hold not only here in the US but all over the globe. Wickedness in high places is waging war against all mankind.

So if you are looking for a nice, soft and calming commentary on Biblical Prophecy you have come to the wrong place. I talk about what the Bible says in no-kidding truthful terms. To prepare the hearts and minds of people everywhere. There are a plethora of "pleasant" churches that will fill you full of flowery, cuddly, and what-you-want-to-hear pablum but I won't do it here. I teach the full council of God and contend for the faith once given to the saints. 

We have to come to grips with the fact that the world is getting nasty, unloving, dangerous and perilous as 2 Tim 3:1-5 points out in the last days. We can't deny this and we can't afford to look away and think these things are just a bad dream. They are not. Mass shootings are on the rise as men are killing one another all over. Ethnic groups are against ethnic groups (nation against nation – Matt 24). In America, practically a shooting a day. In the Middle East, wars and death is exacting their toll. Jesus said that hate, violence, persecution are flag-wavering signs of the last days.

But remember, these signs are not necessarily standing alone; they are combining or converging with other prophetic signs. And all since Israel became a nation in 1947/48 and Jerusalem was recaptured in 1967. These are milestone times and we must know them if we want to be aware of the times and seasons Jesus and the Apostles spoke about in the Word of God. In light of these things, we must be prepared to defend our faith to those who don't know the Lord Jesus Christ.

Behind all of these things we see manifesting in the physical are tremendous battles for men's souls in the spiritual realm. This is what is behind all this hate and violence and it will not get better until Yeshua returns. All the more, we must watch and ready our families in prayer and the reading of the Bible, to be fit both physically and spiritually against the onslaught of wickedness, evil and lawlessness now here and growing stronger.

"And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword." -Rev 6:3-4 (KJV)

Churches need to teach about spiritual warfare and how a believer in Christ must be prepared to fight a spiritual war. We must not retreat from this battle. We must prepare according to Eph 6 with the full armor of God.

We must also not turn away from knowing what our Bibles say about what's prophesied to come – what is here now among us and how much worse it will get. We must pay attention to the truths of God. The last days before Jesus returns will be anything but nice. They will be terrible and unless you are prepared in God's word you may have a very difficult time. Men are killing men, and hate is on the rise. These are signs of the Red Horse payload of Rev 6. But are they really the Red Horse's judgment? I can't be dogmatic about this but it seems as though world tension are very high right now and apparent that certain people want war. We'll have to wait and see how this pans out but for now things are not looking too good.

Are you aware of all this? Do you know Jesus Christ? Are you right with Him this day? Would you be prepared to stand before Him if your name was called into eternity before this days ends? Think on these things.
