Bible Prophecy Commentary: God is Speaking. Repent or Brace for Impact –

In these [last] days, way too may people, including Christians, have their heads firmly buried in the sand and not looking for the things coming upon this earth as foretold by Jesus Himself – Luke 21:26. We have a plethora of "fair-weather" Christians that only like to hear the nice, pretty and lovely things, words from pulpits that tickle their ears. But sadly this is a tragedy and as a result many good intentioned people will be caught unawares for the things most certainly written in their Bibles that will come upon them in the last days.

Folks, it's time to wake up and know what God's word says concerning the signs that will usher His return and the events leading up to this time. And they won't be pretty! Why? People continue to reject Him and His Son Jesus the Christ. They continue to rebel and do everything their way. Their gods are idols. Idols of the heart and physical idols. Pride and lust continue to be the things that people seem to love the best.

However, God will not tolerate this forever. He speaks to us in His word that He will shake everything that cannot be shaken – Heb 12:26-27; Haggai 2:6,7; Isaiah 24:1,11,13. Friends, He is not kidding here. His word is truth and it will come to pass.

Earthquakes, volcanoes, drastic and extreme weather is ramping up all over the world. It's time for you and I to come to grip with this. It's time for the church to start preaching what this all means according to God's Holy Writ. The time is now, the signs are increasing and many either don't want to see or simply close their ears to such gloom and doom and bad news. Folks, it's written in their Bibles! Bottom line: they are scared, ignorant of the truth besides being complacent, lethargic and just don't care.

This cannot be! This should not be!

In Job 37:9-13, God says He uses the cold, strong winds and storms to show His Glory to punish or show His love. Please realize that the Lord God Almighty is the God of all Creation and He is in control.

Pay attention to what's happening in the weather all around you and in the world. He is speaking through these things; He is warning us to get right with Him. To seek His face in sincere repentance and turn away from the sin that hinders and entangles us.

If you claim to be a Christian, you must seek Him sincerely and with repentance or you are just going through the motions and friends … He know this most certainly. It's time to get right with God – no fooling around, no putting on a facade, no fake tears and sad faces. Remember, He looks upon the heart and not outward appearances – 1 Sam 16:7.

"The storm comes from where it was stored; the cold comes with the strong winds. The breath of God makes ice, and the wide waters become frozen. He fills the clouds with water and scatters his lightning through them. At his command they swirl around over the whole earth, doing whatever he commands. He uses the clouds to punish people or to water his earth and show his love." -Job 37:9-13 (KJV)
