Bible Prophecy Commentary: Calamitous Times Are Coming –

There are many very difficult times ahead for mankind. If you think it's bad now please keep watch for it will get worse. Again, I pull no punches in my writing; I do not mince words nor soften the truths found in God's word. God's word says that before His return many terrible things will occur. We are seeing some of them starting even now.

America, it seems is not mentioned in Bible Prophecy (BP). The most powerful and [once] most financially stable and blessed nation this planet has ever witnessed is missing from the pages of the Bible. But why?

Well, for starters we have embraced wickedness and evil now. Our land is mourning due to the outbreak of blatant unrepentant sin against a Holy and Righteous Almighty God. We have charted another course – away from the Lord and hence we are now in very troubled and treacherous waters. It seems that America will not turn around and follow the Lord as Nineveh did in the time of Jonah's preaching. We have become like Nineveh in the time of Nahum's warnings. But what will happen?

We just don't know but the threat of an EMP attack has been looming over this land for sometime now.

As you can see by the silence these days in the news about an EMP attack, apparently the news media is not taking this serious. What has been done to guard against it? Nothing for the general population that is. If our enemies throw an EMP our way, America is finished! Done dancing! Dead end. And as a result many will die. Yes, this is not good news but news we MUST face whether we like it or not.

What would you do if this type of attack occurred? Are you prepared? Have you prepared for your family? I know some that scoff at this and do nothing. What will they do if it hits?

Jesus said to be always watching and waiting for the signs of His coming and the signs of the end of this age. Stay dressed and to keep our lamps burning bright with additional oil if we should need it. How about you? Are you anxiously waiting for the Lord's return? Are you keeping up to date on the signs according to what is written in His word?

Please I urge all who read this today to get in to your Bible, be a Berean (Acts 17:11), read it, study it, immerse yourself in it and seek the Lord while He may be found. Don't listen to my words, find out for yourself through study, prayer and meditation on and in His word.

"Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks.
