Bible Prophecy Commentary: Pestilences –
The Zika virus seems to be alive and well and growing now in the US. So what do we make of this in light of Bible Prophecy? A warning? A sampling of what may come when the Pale horse reveals his payload? At this point we just don't know. But … it should be a message to all of us to be on the alert for even worse things to come. What? I don't know but according to Bible Prophecy and the last days before Christ's return it won't be good.
Are you aware of what the Bible says concerning end time pestilences? Folks, they won't be as docile as this Zika virus has been so far. Read Rev 6:7-8, and see that the Pale horse has the authority to kill one fourth of the earth's population with the sword, famine, pestilence and death. In today's world at a population of approx 7.5 billion, that would mean almost 2 billion to be wiped out by these four judgments from Almighty God.
When will they occur, we just don't know. It's very possible that the previous Red and Black horse judgments will be revealed before or simultaneously. However, no time table at this point is etched in stone so we can only speculate on these issues.
What is important and for the here and now is the question … are you saved? Are you ready for what may come? Do you read your Bible? Please I urge all who read this blog to get right with Almighty God today. Remember, we are not promised even our next breath; once you pass into eternity, there are no returns or redos.
