Bible Prophecy Commentary: Deception and Lies – Be Aware of the Truth!
His comments are deception, untrue and laced with alternate meanings twisted to sound pleasing and truthful. First, what the rest of the world believes Jihad is has no roots in Christianity! Second, Christianity is not Jihad as it relates to Biblical instruction. Third, Christians don't have over 100 verses in the Bible to kill and destroy those who are not Christians. Sending out missionaries has no contemporary meaning in the word Jihad. Which disciple of Jesus Christ behead others?
Islam should not be considered a threat…? Are you kidding me! The radical Islamists are killing people all over the world.
And Jesus did not say to His disciples in Matt 28:18-20, to go and conquer those that are not Christians! Let's get the scriptures right. The Lord said to "teach" all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all the things He commanded them. Now this is what should be taught from all leaders within Christianity.
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20- Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." -Matt 28:18-20 (KJV)
He (our Lord Jesus) did not even imply anything that could even possibly resemble the word "Jihad".
We as Christians go and teach others in peace and humility. Islam Jihadist's kill, maim, behead and murder for their sick and demonic cause.
Friends, you must read your Bible and listen to God Almighty to really know the truth. DO NOT listen to a fallible man such as the Pope. Be an Acts 17:11 Berean and search the scriptures on your own for truth.
Jesus told us four times in Matt 24:5,11,23,24, that deception and deceit would wax strong in the days before His return. And as you can see it is.
