Will You Be Ready and Prepared?

If you are sitting there thinking, "What's this guy talking about?" or others might say "He's just a fearmonger" or still others thinking "He's just plain weird", then my friend, you are not paying attention to what the Bible says is coming to this gross sin-sick world. You are also not tuned in to world events and you are not reading your Bible!

The days we are living in are filled with all kinds of uncertainty, doubt and despair. If you are following the global financial situation, the outlook is dim. If you are aware of the geopolitics that are rattling the Middle East, again, the outlook is unpredictable at best (war could be closer than anyone thinks). How about what's happening in the Pacific with China, Japan and the US?

And then there's the weather; what about the recent hurricane that hit Mexico and is causing all kinds of flooding even into Texas. Biggest one ever recorded! And don't forget about the rise and frequency of earthquakes, sinkholes, and meteors.  Yes there are many events increasing that could cause some major threats to nations and people in the very near future. These are birthpains in nations, people and also in nature. So what do we do with this information? Should we be alarmed? What does it do to our faith in Almighty God? Will we be prepared in heart, mind and soul? What about in provisions? Are we thinking about our families? I can tell you most are not!

I would like everyone tuned into this message today to be aware that in the Old Testament we have an account of what someone did knowing that bad times were ahead. The Pharaoh of Egypt, had a dream and it just so happened (ordained by God, that is) that Joseph, one of the 12 sons of Jacob, was there and available to interpret Pharaoh's dream (Gen 41:37-57). He said there would be seven years of plenty and then seven years of famine. He was letting the Pharaoh know what was ahead and then how to prepare for the lean years. This was an actual event and it has underlined the concept of preparation for what came then and what could come in our day. The question is are you listening?

For the past 50 years or so, the US has experienced tremendous economic prosperity – lots of wealth, jobs, opportunities, military superiority – you get the picture. We have honored and revered the Lord God Almighty in times past but now we have rejected and rebelled against Him terribly. We have gone our own way with our thinking, attitudes and actions telling God that He is not invited into our homes, schools or public life anymore. We have shunned our Bibles and our churches are filled with toothless teachers who are more interested in their wealth and egos than they are in preaching and teaching the full council of the Lord. Consequently, America has changed into a Godless nation reflected by all 5 of the non-repentant churches found in Rev 2 and 3. We are now led nationally by ungodly wicked men and women.

With every passing day, the inhabitants of this earth get closer to the sure judgments of God – the fury of His anger and the awfulness of His Wrath. Today the nations of the world are being stirred up and set on fire. They, we, are on a collision course with the righteous judgments from a Holy, Living and Awesome God.

We know the world is likewise changing are a rapid rate – just look at the migrant crisis now hitting the EU and soon to be the US – with a heathenistic Godless invader that has no Almighty God in their knowledge or thoughts. Even more so we must be ready for what's up ahead. If you are a student of the Bible, you will know that the forecast is foreboding and for those that don't know the Lord, filled with dread and horror. I'm not trying to purposely scare anyone only present the truth found in the pages of Scripture.

BTW, is your church teaching what is clearly presented in God's word? Are you aware of what the Lord says is coming?

Tensions are increasing across our planet and the US seems to be a big target along with Israel. Russia is increasing their military footprint all over and folks things are getting scary in terms of what could take place. Just in case you haven't noticed, they (Russia) are not afraid of the US anymore. Then there's Iran threatening us and the crazed and whacked-out N. Korean leader with his fat finger on a plethora of nukes. China is building up their military at a record rate and the tensions between them and the US are increasing daily.

So are you prepared incase of any emergency?

In a moment of time with an attack from an EMP weapon (read), we could be hurled back into the 1800's (Iran, N Korea, China, Russia). Even with targeted cyberattacks against our power grid or infrastructure crippling the supply of water, electricity, gas, halting communications and paralyzing our financial backbone. Are you even aware of what this could mean for our smart phone toting, TV-addicted, fancy car riding, technology-driven society? We do almost everything these days via computer, via electricity; so what would happen if it wasn't available? Yep, no food, no water, no gas, no cars – we would be in some serious, serious trouble. So are you ready of this should happen? An EMP attack (here and here) or a Sun-generated CME (solar flare) event would be devastating to us. (article: "Report: United States Increasingly Vulnerable to Potentially Catastrophic EMP Attack"). These are just a couple of ways we could be left to years of nothing – years of famine. So what about all this, have you even considered it? No…?

Of anyone on this earth, Christians should be aware of what will occur before the Lord returns. And as I've said before it will not be pretty. Why? Sin – unrepentant mankind, arrogant mankind, prideful mankind that cares less about God and even less about the sacrifice His Son made of the cross for us. Christians should be very knowledgeable (and without excuse) as to the scope of what's coming so they can warn others. Christians should pull their heads out of the sand and face this reality for it will come. The Lord commands us to watch! I'm not gonna hide this fact deep in some cotton-candy, soft and mushy Gospel cover-up, like most preachers do. This is the straight and hard truth. We are in for a rough ride in the days ahead. In fact, it's already started, if you are keeping up with current events you will know this. (Just watch what this pastor is doing for his flock and has been for years – he's preparing them). I highly applaud him and his ministry. Why don't more of our so-called Christian shepherds do the same today? I'll tell you! For they are scared, uneducated, don't care, timid, weak, sickly, and don't want to offend their flock. Pathetic!

What About Your Family – Do You Care Enough For Them to Store Up Provisions and Be Ready?

You as the Christian head of your house should be preparing for the lean times ahead, as Joseph did. You should be taking care of your family both spiritually and physically – preparing them and teaching them. Paul paints a very simple and straight forward picture in the following verse – 1 Tim 5:8. He throws up some writing on the wall for all of us. 

"But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." -1 Tim 5:8 (KJV)

You now know the truth and so it's on you to do something about it or continue to sit on your thumbs and make nothing of all said here today. It's very simple to prepare – some extra [portable] food (MRE's), water, TP, flashlights, batteries, first aid kit, blankets, etc. and yes something to protect you and yours when the riots and gangs start their run. And they will come – just look at what happened in Ferguson and Baltimore this year and that was based on just plain [demonic] racial hatred. What will people do when the food runs out?

Get ready people for the writing is on the wall for this nation and the rest of the world. America was once great and protected by God but these days, I believe His hand has been lifted off of us (Rom 1) and we can only hope in Him now individually and to get His word out to as many people as we can. Remember, our lives are in His hand; He will be there for us but we must trust and have extreme combat faith in our Lord in these days and the tough ones ahead. Are you prepared and are you ready?

Just a thought: How many of you would go into a unknown pitch dark room without a means to provide light so as to see where you are going? Would you risk the unseen dangers to only your instinct and knowledge? Why would you not then prepare for the things we know are coming from prophecies called out in God's word?

Don't maintain a head-in-the-sand mentality and an arrogant "this will never happen attitude". Get off your duff and start thinking and doing something about these things for when they actually occur, it will be too late to act. Remember the five foolish virgins in the parable in Matt 25:1-13? They didn't prepare, the bridegroom came and the door was shut. Some could argue this was only spiritual but I would add the physical as well as they didn't bring additional oil (anointing of the Holy Spirit and also the anointing of being prepared).
