Bible Prophecy Commentary: Calamitous Road Ahead –
Friends, if you haven't heard of this EMP type of attack or the real possibility of a solar flare it's time for you to do some research. I would say that the reality of an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) attack is very possible given the times in which we live. And America seems these days to have lots of enemies that have this capability. i.e. Russia, China, Iran, N. Korea. An attack of this type could throw America back into the 1800's without all the comforts of technology we have learned to live with over the years.

There is also the very real possibility of a cyber-attack by these enemies. They have the knowledge and technology and most have engaged in these probing attacks before. What about that Sony Pictures attack? – read here and here.
The real problem is that most American's are ill prepared for this in terms of knowledge and how to prepare. Heck, most live only from meal-to-meal. Many could care less and are lethargic to world affairs. Folks, it's time to get in the know about these type of things. The Lord God Almighty says that in the last days the times would be calamitous and filled with all kinds of dangers (2 Tim 3:1-5). It's time to read your Bible and get right with Him. It's time to keep watch and learn about Bible Prophecy and how it relates to current events.
It's time to stop ignoring this threat and learn how to prepare – in mind, spirit and soul (as well as in physical needs for yourself and family).
