Bible Prophecy Commentary – Flooding:
Today, God is shaking the world in many ways: floods, earthquakes doubling, volcanoes unprecedented, diseases, extreme weather, sinkholes, economy failing, societies in turmoil, wars and rumors of war, deception, false Christs and false teachers, etc. America is especially being shaken for we have been richly blessed and given much but now we are turning our back on Almighty God. We have stiff-armed His Son Jesus Christ and ejected Him almost completely from our pagan culture. What do you think He thinks about this?
It is this author’s opinion, based on scripture, that God is urging us to turn back to Him, to return to Him. Not just in a few words but in our lifestyle and in our fear of Him. For America, and the world, has no fear of God anymore. Also, they have little knowledge of who God really is. Everyone just does their own thing and is engaged in a plethora of ungodliness and pleasure. Idolatry is another thing God hates yet America is steeped in it. Technology idols are big and distract people from focusing on His ways. In the book of Nahum, chapter one, we read in verse 8 that God uses overrunning floods against His enemies. Folks, if you are not with God, you are against Him – Matt 12:30 – and means you are His enemy.Yes, tough words and these should be echoed in our Christian churches but these days … you will rarely hear it.
God ultimately controls the weather and can use it for good or as a tool for correction -Job 37:13. Often in this modern and contemporary time people will disassociate nature from God and think that He won’t use it for His purposes. This thinking is unBiblical. Turn back to God today and seek His face for His patience won’t last forever.
“See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.” -Heb 12:25-26 (KJV)
Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
