My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Jerusalem:
The Jewish people are referred to the people “that dwell in the midst of the land” in Eze 38:12 Jerusalem is indeed the center of the world- it is God’s declared land and people. He has warned us in His word not to mess with them. We have learned throughout history that God has been miraculously with Israel in conflicts and wars. Their land is now prospering above most other nations. It has an immensely strong military, one that most nations, I believe, underestimate. And now the US [again] wants to give away their land for a peace that will never hold, that will never last.
It will be for Jerusalem that the next Middle East conflict breaks out. Russia is on deck for what seems to be a conflict with the West and Ukraine but I hold that the West is too weak and confused to confront and ever-growing Russia and its bold leader – Putin. However, Russia will enter the Middle Eastern fray as the Gog/Magog war gets closer.
Another concern is for the Psalm 83 conflict and the Arab neighbors that surround Israel. This conflict is also on deck for prophecy fulfillment. But when? Could the success or failure of this US-UN-EU-lead process making Israel give up her land result in an unforeseen war?
What about the rapidly increasing anti-Semitism and violence in Europe? Will this push the EU even further into helping divide the land of Israel? There are many corrupt and wicked forces at work here and they are led by principalities in high places (Eph 6:12) namely the demonic realm. A quick read of Daniel Chapter 10 will reveal how demonic hegemony is controlling governments all over the world in Daniel’s time and also in our time.
Folks, Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled daily in terms of conditioning nations, leaders, and people into God’s final plan before the end of this age – just before His Son returns to stand on the Mount of Olives (Zech 14:4). Stay tuned, stay alert, stay sober and watch. He is coming but who is ready!
