Bible Prophecy Commentary:
In Zephaniah, when God judged Judah in the OT, He said He would destroy men, animals, birds and fish. This is happening all over the world today; many populations are in decline and nature's animals are vanishing. Their sin of rebellion, rejection, idolatry, Baal worship, etc was an abomination to the Lord God Almighty. Folks, we see the same things happening today only in huge numbers and worldwide. America, a nation founded on the Godly principles with Godly men is declining so fast that it is almost unbelievable – like a dream or a movie. I think the Lord is giving us signs that we have very little time left. I urge all who read this to take this to heart and repent and seek the Lord today.
"I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth," declares the Lord. 3- I will sweep away both men and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea. The wicked will have only heaps of rubble when I cut off man from the face of the earth," declares the Lord." Zep 1:2-3
Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
